I will overwhelm 'credible fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua
The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two time world heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving massive earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Difference
As the two fighters participated in the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
